Grading
Every Niotona pin is inspected before being shipped out. Since hard enamel pins are a handcrafted process, minor imperfections are normal, but grading helps set clear expectations for collectors.
- A Grade: These are the best quality from the batch. Free of major defects but may have tiny imperfections that exist under bright light or extreme close-ups.
- B Grade: Contain small but visible imperfections such as, pin pricks, small scratches, or slight printing errors. A solid choice for budget collectors, as they’re always offered at a reduced price.
-
C Grade: These are pins with major, visible flaws that noticeably affect their overall appearance or structure. Examples include deep scratches, large missing enamel areas, heavy plating errors, chipped edges, etc.
In-hand drops along with pre-order pins will always be A grade.
